The Human Rights Legal Project (HRLP) is a legal aid organisation working in Greece to challenge human rights violations against displaced people and to seek accountability for state criminality along the border of the European Union. The organisation is unique in the Greek context, in that it solely accepts cases that fall outside of the asylum system, and which address grave violations of human rights, including police brutality, pushbacks, denial of access to healthcare and more.

By providing free legal aid, HRLP support displaced people to access the justice system, and realise their rights. By challenging harmful policy and practice, they work to create system change, and to advocate for safe, humane, and dignified migration pathways.
