Across Europe, people are coming together in small-scale projects to provide life-saving aid. They cook soup, provide medical assistance or distribute clothes and sleeping bags.
Over the past five years, we have built up a network of over 200 such local projects. This ensures that your donation is channelled to where it is needed most.

In war zones such as the Gaza Strip or Ukraine, people have to be evacuated from frontline areas and provided with medical care. A medical evacuation costs 1000€.
Aeople have to be rescued from distress at sea in the Mediterranean. Every hour of operation of our civilian rescue coordination center costs €20.
In Greece people are provided with food, hygiene packages and clean laundry. Each food package costs €10.
On the Greek islands of Lesbos and Samos, criminalized refugees need lawyers to protect them from life sentences. A court case costs us between 1500 and 2000 euros.
Along the Balkan route or at the Polish-Belarusian border, pushbacks have to be documented, medical assistance provided or sleeping bags and shoes handed out. A pair of shoes costs around €12.
